TENDER NOTICE:

TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF NEW MOTOR VEHICLES

CARE International is an International NGO working in Somalia and Somaliland. CARE and its partners work with vulnerable communities to address the underlying causes of poverty and promote peace and development by strengthening civil society, responding to emergencies and advocating for policy change.

CARE Somalia intends to purchase 2 (4×4) motor vehicles for the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoE&HE) with funding from the EU funded Waxbarashadu Waa Iftiin IV (Education Is Light IV) project in the Puntland State of Somalia. You are therefore, invited to submit your best all-inclusive sealed bid expressed in US Dollars.

Tender Submissions

This tender process will be conducted using CARE’s sealed tender process, and it is open for all interested and qualified contractors/suppliers. Bids shall be accompanied with the following documents for preliminary evaluation:

Valid Certificate Business (Commerce Ministry)
Tax Clearance from Ministry of Finance
Registration Certificate from Puntland tender Board (QR Code supported)
Prove/Evidence of experience in supplying vehicles to INGOs in Somalia (Attach PO/Contract)
Proven physical location and address of the Company (Updated Company profile).
Please indicate Country of origin/ manufacture of the vehicles and Delivery period.

All completed tender documents must be deposited in a sealed envelope in the tender box located in the above address or via email to som.procurement@care.org The bidders registered name and the bid tittle should be clearly marked in the envelope. The tender documents are obtainable from CARE international Garowe office during working hours at Ex-Rugsan Hotel, Main Road near the UN compound and Bidders stationed outside Garowe, Puntland, Somalia may request the bid documents from som.procurement@care.org for any unclear inquiries please contact Mohamoud.Muse@care.org

Bids should be enclosed in an ENVELOPE and clearly marked – “TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF TWO MOTOR VEHICLES and should be sent to the: PROCUREMENT TENDER COMMITTEE, CARE Somalia, Garowe, not later than Sunday, 12 December, 2022 at 2:00 pm.

Tenders with insufficient/partial information and those received after the closing date mentioned in the tender advertisement will be considered invalid.

CARE International – Somalia reserves the right to accept or reject any application either in whole or in part without giving reasons for either rejection or acceptance.
