05 Basic Function The General Manager shall  co-ordinate operational activities of the organization, implement  policies, Monitor technical performance of the organization, ensure compliance to statutory and regulatory requirement, develop appropriate standards ,develop comprehensive frame work and guidelines for optimum realization of the firm’s objectives.

06 Job Profile
  • Implement operational and technical strategies as per the firm’s Strategic Plans.
  •  Develop, direct, and implement the strategies goals and objectives of the organization and promote revenue profitability and growth of ORGANIZATION.
  • Give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization mission and objectives.
  •  Oversee ORGANIZATION’s acquisition, maintenance and efficient utilization of the company’s human-capital as well as physical assets and resources.
  • To ensure that all staff are effectively employed and adequately trained to perform their responsibilities and operational tasks.
  •  Oversee the company’s operations to ensure efficiency, quality of services and cost-effective management of resources meeting share- holder’s expectations.
  •  Ensure overall processes and procedures of ORGANIZATION meet the ISO; 9001:2015/14001 standards.
  • Be the driving force for the continual improvement of all departmental business and systems of the ORGANIZATION.
  • To ensure that the services sold to clients are of high quality in accordance with the company’s quality policy.
  • Recruit, select and develop management team members.
  • Plan and monitor progress of ORGANIZATION’s scheduled Action Plans.
  • Authorize all legal documents of high importance.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with clients and suppliers.
  • Monitor ORGANIZATION’s company Quality Management System.
  • Represent the company at associations and outside committees.
  • Any other duties as allocated by the Board of Directors.
  • Assumes and oversees both the marketing and the financial roles of the ORGANIZATION
  • Responsible for ORGANIZATION’s financial management aspects of the company’s operations.
  •   Contribute to the business strategy planning and implementation.
  •  Develop and implement procedures relating to this department
  • Ensure Compliance to international and local standards
  • Monitoring essential activities if the firm and the potential hazards associated with the organization
  • Ensuring training of competent and skilled manpower
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of the firm’s equipment, machinery and infrastructure
07 Educational  Requirements Master’s degree in Business Management OR Master’s Business Administration Or Applied Sciences. 

Bachelor Of Science degree in Chemistry or Applied Sciences with 10 years’ Experience in a similar organization

08 Minimum Experience 5 years’ experience in a senior management position in a similar Organization . 

Or 10 years’ experience in a mid-management position in a similar  Organization.

09 Skills & Other Qualifications > Leadership skills: Possesses and implements the functions of a leader. He or She will share ORGANIZATION’s values, mission and vision. He or She will consistently display integrity, models behavior, develops people, and builds teams.

> Personal Skills: Must be comfortable with diversity and respectful of a wide range of faiths, beliefs and experiences.

> Technical Expertise: Knowledge the In Petroleum Industry, Quality Control, is an added advantage

> Computer Literacy- Must be computer Literate

> Thinker-be a strategic and critical thinker

> Team Leader-Be a good team leader

> Leadership skills: Possesses and implements the functions of a leader.

> He or She will share ORGANIZATION’s values, mission and vision. He or She will consistently display integrity, models behavior, develops people, and builds team.

> Personal Skills: Must be comfortable with diversity and respectful of a wide range of faiths, beliefs and experiences.

> Technical Expertise: Knowledge the In Petroleum Industry, Quality Control, is a plus

Experience: Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role

Planning: Experience in planning and budgeting

Knowledge: Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)

>Ability: Strong analytical ability

Communication: Excellent communication skills

Organization: Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

> Aptitude: Problem-solving aptitude and conceptual mind

ICT: Computer Literate
