Introduction
Daryeel Bulsho Guud -DBG (community care for all) is a Somali NGO which has been operating in Somalia since year 1992. It prides of its capacity to successfully implement both humanitarian and development projects. DBG core mission is to alleviate the sufferings of conflict and drought affected Somali people through provision of holistic and multi-sectorial, sustainable programs that link emergency relief and long-term development from the grassroots level.
In the last 10 years alone, with significant interest in the internally displaced people –IDPs as highest proportion of our direct beneficiaries, DBG supported over three million direct beneficiaries in different sectors including Food Security/livelihood, Education, Shelter/protection WASH, empower women economically and socially, promote social cohesion, and reduce.
DBG is a part of the Somali civil society aiming to assist Somalia in restoring its mutual respect and trust required both for the establishment of new, viable public and private institutions, for more details.
The Purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT)
The intent of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to secure competitive bids and proposals from qualified contractors and vendors for Daryeel Bulsho Guud (DBG) Somalia Program in Mogadishu Office for the construction of total 17 Temporary Learning Spaces (TLSs) in Kahda and Deynile Districts in Mogadishu-Somalia.
Eligibility
- Bidders must have complied with government legal regulations to operate in Somalia particularly in Benadir State.
- The bidder shall have financial capacity to undertake the intended activities.
- The bidder shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
Bid Documents and the Preliminary Examination
- The bid committee will preliminarily examine the bids to determine whether they are complete;
- Failure to provide any of the requested documents below will disqualify the bidder from consideration.
- Bidders are supposed to check the completeness of the documents before submitting.
- Tender envelope should be sealed and stamped containing the following documents:
- Completed, signed and stamped price quotation/BoQ for the items/services
- Profile of the company
- Valid registration/work permit from the Benadir State
- Most recent bank statement showing the transaction details and last balance
- Other important document bidder feel need to be attached to support their bid (optional), e.g contract of previous related work experience.
How to apply
DBG invites the interested qualified suppliers to collect tender documents from DBG Mogadishu Office (Safari Apartments, Km5 Hodan District Mogadsihu Somalia) between 4 February 2024 till 25 February 2024. Soft copies of tender documents, service, specifications, and drawings can be obtained from DBG office.
The deadline for bid submission is on or before 25 February 2024 4.00 PM EAT.
Any tender revived after this deadline will not be considered.
