Job Description:

Milestones Institute of Careers and Certifications seeks a visionary and dynamic Managing Director to lead and oversee our educational institution’s strategic development, administration, and operations. The ideal candidate will drive the growth of our diploma and certificate programs, ensure academic excellence, and foster an inclusive and supportive environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the institution’s strategic plan in alignment with its mission and vision.

Program Development: Oversee the creation and enhancement of diploma and certificate programs to meet industry standards and student needs.

Operations Management: Ensure the effective management of all institutional operations, including academic, financial, and administrative functions.

Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the institution’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the institution’s staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with industry partners, regulatory bodies, alumni, and the wider community.

Marketing and Student Recruitment: Develop strategies to enhance the institution’s profile and attract prospective students, including using digital and social media channels.

Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation standards and continuously monitor and improve the quality of education delivered.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferable.

Experience: 2-5 years of senior management experience in an educational institution, preferably in a similar role. Experience in managing diploma and certificate programs is highly desirable.

Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills with a track record of driving organizational growth and development.

Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial planning.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, focusing on innovation and continuous improvement.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
