High school diploma, diploma on baccalaureate nursing programme or an accredited diploma programme, license to practice as a nurse from home country, Certificate of Good Standing from Medical Society.
A cover letter (maximum length: 1 page) indicating why the candidate considers him-/herself to be suitable for the position.
Managers may ask (ad hoc) for any other materials relevant to pre-assessing the relevance of their experience, such as reports, presentations, publications, campaigns or other materials.
UNDP will cover the cost of travel of the individual to the duty station, as well as their return to their home upon completion of their services. Travel costs are covered only in the event that the function will be undertaken physically in the duty station and excludes working from home arrangements.
These temporary positions are located in the Department of Management and field missions, including those UN Clinics administered by UNDP. At Headquarters, the nurse reports to the Medical Director, Division of Healthcare Management, Occupational Health and Safety (DHMOSH) and usually in the field to the UN Health Manager when applicable. In the field has a functional reporting relationship to the UN Medical Director, DHMOSH, OHRM, and in those UN Clinics administered by UNDP with the UNDP Resident Representatives.
In some duty stations, nurses may also head up small field medical service facilities.
The Nurse will be under direct supervision of the UN Clinic Health Manager.

Within delegated authority, the nurse will be responsible for the following duties
