The Ministry of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Somalia Crisis Recovery Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement of Lab & medical equipment for Federal & FMS Health Ministries.
The Ministry of Finance now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of Lab & medical equipment for Federal & Federal Member States Health Ministries. A detailed schedule of requirements is attached to Annex-1.
Bidding will be conducted through open national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 1s,t 2016 revised November 2017 August 2018, and November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Bids encrypted/protected a with password must be send to project@gmail.com on or before August 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM (Local Time). Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Password shall be provided by the Bidder one (1) hour before the closing time of submission of bids. Bids submitted after the deadline will be rejected. Bidders will receive a Google Meet invitation to attend public Bid opening bids on August 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM (Local Time) in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone else who wishes to attend.
All Bids must be accompanied by a BID-SECURING DECLARATION using the form included in Section IV, Bidding Forms.
