Request For Expression of Interest (EOI) for Construction/rehabilitation Works of Small and Medium Size Constructions in Marodijex, Sahil and Togdher

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Construction/Rehabilitation works of small and medium size Constructions in Marodijex, Sahil and Togdher.

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is currently implementing its project Resilience Disaster Risk Maagement (RDRM) in Somaliland.  As part of this project GIZ intends to award a contract for construction and rehabilitation works at three regions Marodijex, Sahil and Togdher.

The scope of work includes:

• Construction of new buildings in rural areas of Marodijex, Sahil and Togdher
• Rehabilitation of existing buildings in rural areas of Marodijex, Sahil and Togdher

Construction work is expected to be performed and completed until end December 2023. Bidders need to take into consideration the time frame and be available with all team/workers and equipment

To qualify for consideration in the tender procedure, interested companies are required to submit the following information and documents for eligibility assessment:

• Official letter expressing interest
• Company profile including number of employees (permanent / temporary in total) and number of professional staff qualified to perform the works, each for the last three (3) years (2019, 2020 and 2021),
• List of Key construction personnel and organizational organigram and short CVs for personnel such as, Project Managing, Engineers (Site Engineer, Electrical Engineer and Structural Engineer) and Forman. In addition to this, bidder must include number of skilled technical employees in the firm.
• Company details including full company name, full address, phone and email
• Copy of company registration certificate
• Provide details of List 3 construction works of similar nature completed with worth over USD 100,000 completed as main contractor for the last three (3) years, giving details and contacts of details of work under way or contractually committed (3 references of each); and names and addresses of clients who may be contacted for further information on these contracts.
• Must have annual total at least minimum USD 200,000 and above per annum for the last three years. Please just send us income statements or bank statement.
• List of equipment and machinery necessary to execute the works. List needs to contain information if the equipment is owned or evidence of possibility to hire the same. (Dump Truck, Excavator, front loader, Mixer and bulldozer)
