SUBJECT: INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION SUPPLIER LIST FOR PROVISION OF GOODS AND SERVICES FOR THE 2023

1. Introduction

ANPPCAN-SOM- (African Network for the Prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect – Somali Chapter) is a legally registered body in Somaliland and Somalia.  ANPPCAN-SOM is a non-government, not-for-profit and non-partisan organization concerned with status of children and women in general and those in need of protection in particular to enhance and uphold the rights of the children and women and protect them from all forms of maltreatment.

ANPPCAN-SOM is affiliated with ANPPCAN, a Pan-African child rights organization with headquarter in Nairobi, Kenya.

ANPPCAN-SOM intend to establish a list of pre-qualified suppliers to carry out its work in an efficient and effective manner in order to promote supplier partnership and to improve on the quality of products and services whilst achieving the most competitive prices.

B.      PRE-QUALIFICATION INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES

1. ANPPCAN-SOM herein referred to as the organization, requests applicants/candidates who meet the criteria set out by the organization to apply for registration of pre-qualification.
2. The pre-qualification objective is to supply and deliver assorted items and provide services under the relevant tenders/quotations to ANPPCAN-SOM and as when required during the stated period
3. Duly registered suppliers of goods and services under the Laws of Somalia are invited to submit their pre-qualification documents to ANPPCAN-SOM so that they may be pre-qualified for submission of quotations. The prospective suppliers are required to supply mandatory information for pre-qualification.
4. Prospective suppliers and contractors must have carried out successful supply and delivery of similar items/services to NGOs, Corporations, Institutions or Government. Potential suppliers/contractors must demonstrate the willingness and commitment to meet the pre-qualification criteria.
5. This invitation of application for pre-qualification is open to potential applicants who are able to demonstrate proven technical, financial and managerial capacity to supply the listed goods and services.

1. This document includes questionnaire forms and documents required of prospective suppliers.
2. The successful applicants will be registered on ANPPCAN-SOM on suppliers list for the period January 2023 – 31st December 2023 and ANPPCAN-SOM will only deal with the firms that are registered.
3. Applicants must submit a duly completed and signed Confidential Business Questionnaire provided herein as Appendix ‘A’.
4. ANPPCAN-SOM reserves the right to request the submission of additional information from applicants or any other credible source, and to visit and inspect the business premises of the applicant to verify the information given.
5. The organization will ensure information that is received from companies is treated with the utmost confidentiality and shall be for the sole use of ANPPCAN-SOM.
6. The pre-qualified suppliers are required to immediately advise the organization of any significant change in its financial, technical capacity, ownership or holdings it may have.
7. Failure to submit any of the mandatory requirements will lead to automatic disqualification from the exercise.
