Project Background                                                                                                                         

The Pastoral and Environmental Network in the Horn of Africa (PENHA) is a non-governmental organization that works to promote development in the pastoralist communities of the Horn of Africa. Founded in 1989, PENHA is an African inspired and led NGO, registered as a charity in the UK and headquartered in London. PENHA operates across the IGAD region and has country offices in UK, Ethiopia and Somaliland. PENHA’s mission is to promote development by empowering communities and fostering sustainable and diversified livelihoods.

PENHA works at both the grassroots and policy levels, combining research, policy work, advocacy and project implementation, with a participatory and bottom-up approach. Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) project funded by UNDP.

Project Objective

Project will contribute to the economic development of agro-pastoralists in Beer, Habariheshay, and Ceelbilcile of the Togdheer region by building the capacity of the community, with management systems, and provision of training, tools, and production inputs in the areas of the livestock value chain (such fodder production and milk value chain improvement) and agribusiness such enterprise development sector with special focus on the needs of women entrepreneurs.

• The Bidder should provide a Certified copy of business registration certificate.
• The bidder should submit a certified copy of tax registration
• The bidder should provide Company Profile
• The bidder should provide relevant experience in similar activities
• The bidder should provide Bank Statement for the last 6 Months
