Job Description

ISP field technician responsible for the installation & maintenance of internet service for residential & commercial customers and dealing with customers and solving issues on-site, which involves working outside on a daily basis. Applicant should be comfortable with climbing roofs & towers to install/maintain internet service equipment. Familiarity with networking, fiber optic, cabling. Having an experience with ISP field technician is competitive advantage.The applicant also needs to be comfortable with working in a team-oriented environment and traveling in different locations.

Functional and Technical Skills, Independence, Attention to Detail, Verbal Communication and Documentation Skills – Excellent management and supervising skills – Hardware Installation & Configuration, Application installation & service Testing, Configuration Management, Integration, Fault Management, and Alarm Monitoring for above mentioned technologies.

One of the most valuable skills that is required for ISP field engineers are both Somali and English communication.

Educational and Experience Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or computer science.

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is required.
