BERBERA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT COMPANY (BIAC)

Job Summary

Ensure the proper functioning of the IT system at the airport.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer networks (PBX, Switches, Routers, Firewall, Access Points, Modem…)
• Network monitoring.
• Testing the network for weakness.
• Keeping an eye out for needed updates.
• In many cases, E-mail and Internet filters.
• Evaluating implementing network.
• Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
• Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete
• Monitoring computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved
• IT Users Support
• Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
• Consulting with clients to specify system requirements and design solutions

REQUIREMENTS

• Good knowledge of ITC network (Switches, Access Point, Firewall)
• IT equipment maintenance
• Good Knowledge of PBX Phone System
• Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Teamworking skills
• Enthusiasm
• Initiative
• Attention to Details
• Interpersonal skills 

• QUALIFICATIONS

• Bac + 5 in ITC domain
• 2+ years of experience in the field of network administration
• 2+ years of experience in networking devices configuration (Cisco, FortiGate, Netgear…)
• Understanding of IT security and network risks
• Good understanding of server configurations (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS…)
