• Location:Dhusamareeb (Higlaale, Eldhere and 2 Mobile team)
• Title: Nutrition Screener (4 Position)
• Reporting: Program supervisor
• Duration: 12 Months
• Closing Date: 10th September 2021

Job Purpose/Objective

• The nutrition Screener will provide screening service of the acutely/moderates malnourished He/She are expected to provide high standard of promoting optimum nutrition for the preventing malnutrition and Working under the guidance and supervision of the Nutrition Officer will be directly responsible for the day to day implementation of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Participants in taking MUAC reading and referring SAM cases to OTP centers
• Support in targeting Children registration and card distribution
• Assist the Nutrition supervisor in writing monthly report
• Mobilize and sensitize project participants on monthly basis before every food distribution
• Timely prepare and submit field reports.
• Properly engage with stakeholders in conformity with TUOS core value.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or her/his designate

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• Certificate / Diploma in Health Sector
• Two year Experience in nutrition program and community work.
• Experience in training of volunteers on SAM program.
• Good relations with other people.
• Good capacity to work in a team and flexibility.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good writing and presentation skills
• English fluency (verbal and written) required and local language (preferred)
