Job Title: DMT/DBI Puntland Manager

Location: Garowe, Puntland

Reports:     Functionally to DMT/DBI CEOs

Administratively to Puntland Group Managing Director

Key Responsibilities     

1. Provide DBI/DMT Puntland a unity of command and direction
2. Implement strategies to achieve goals assigned to the branch as established in the Bank’s overall strategic plan; assist in the development of the annual budget for the branch and adheres to budget parameters.
3. Prepares daily and periodical reports of the Puntland DBI/DMT targets, KPIs, and other related main information.
4. Grow and cross-sell bank and hawala products as per targets.
5. Manage and supervise DMT/DBI Puntland employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
6. Supporting Management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner and demonstrating a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
7. Act as the principal point of contact for DBI/DMT’s relationship with a designated portfolio and targets.
8. Regain the lost key clients for both DMT and DBI
9. Grow the customer base, ensure retention of existing customers through a high level of customer satisfaction.
10. Achieve profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
11. Ensure proper documentation for all DMT/DBI processes and adhere to their policies and procedures.
12. Grow and monitor DBI’s liability and asset portfolios to achieve business targets.
13. Overall management of the DMT/DBI through effective & efficient utilization of resources.
14. Delivery of excellent customer service through maintenance of high service standards.
15. Ensure compliance to Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework (EWRMF) and KYC//AML/CFT policies and procedures.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

1. MBA / Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field
2. Excellent communication and writing skills.
3. Great leadership skills.
4. Strong analytical skills.
5. At least three years of experience in management, finance, sales or a relevant business role.
6. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
