Position: Corporate Relations Officer

 

Reporting to: eDahab Director.

Entity: Dahabshiil Money Transfer.

Location: Mogadishu, Somalia.

 

Job Summary 

We are seeking a creative, driven, and energetic Corporate Relations officer to become a part of our growing corporate/public relations team. The ideal candidate should be skilled communicator and presenters who can find the best fit between clients and the service by the company. He/she should be able organized, passionate about client’s relation and focus on enhancing the client’s experience.

Corporate Relations OfficerResponsibilities

  • Collaborating with other teams and departments to meet client needs and create new opportunities.
  • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
  • Making cold calls or reaching out to prospects.
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of eDahab services to prospective buyers
  • Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
  • Handling complaints and negotiations.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet customer needs and aims.
  • Contribute setting and implementation of eDahab strategies.
  • Support the eDahab Management team in overseeing the eDahab’s operations.
  • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise eDahab brand awareness
  • Collaboratewith the team for advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.
  • Participate content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution.

  • Achievement/Effort — Job requires establishing and maintaining personally challenging achievement goals and exerting effort toward mastering tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration marketing or related Fields.
  • Master’s degree Business Administration, Public Administration,Marketing or related Fields will be an added advantage.
  • Transcripts or mark sheet (highly recommended).
  • 2 + years previous experience in corporate relations,marketing, or related field.
  • Good knowledge and experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong knowledgeEnglish and Somali language.
  • Exceptional time management and ability to solve problem under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
