Investment Appraisal Manager – Corporate – Somali Regional State of Ethiopia

Job Description

Assign and monitor loan cases to individual investment analysts for their subsequent processing of loan request.
Review the loan delivery time report and other periodic reports to ensure validity and completeness before sending to concerned organs.
Monitor and facilitate bulk review investment risk grading periodically for risk based lending.
Gather feedback on the investment procedure and suggest improvements for input to investment procedure revision.
Develop Division strategic plans and objectives and lead in its implementation.
Prepare Division work plans and monitor their execution.
Develop policies and procedures for the division and lead in their implementation and continuous review.
Prepare budgets for the Division and track their implementation.
Coach and mentor employees within the division towards effective career development.
Evaluate the periodic performance of his/her subordinates.
Manage disciplinary concerns of the Division staff.
Take part in the Bank’s decision making process by becoming part of different panel/ committee (s) including investment approving panel/committee.

Job Requirements

Master’s Degree in Management, Accounting and Economics or related field, with six (6) years of experience of which (2) years should be at supervisory position OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Accounting and Economics or related fields, with eight (8) years of experience of which (2) years should be at supervisory position.
Specialist skill in the financial and banking sector.
