Branch Operations Manager – Somali Regional State of Ethiopia

Job Description

Main Duties

  •  Development and implementation of resource mobilization plan/techniques and guidelines.
  • Review deposit performance report of branches and submit to the Director Branch Operation
  • Lead the assessment and identification of key resource opportunity areas and manage relationship with corporate deposit customers.
  • Monitor proper management of authorized signatories.
  • Review new branch opening plan, monitor and coordinate new branch opening process and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Review inspection and internal audit reports and follow-up the proper implementation of recommended measures/decisions.
  • Attend and escalate complaints/inquiries from customers.
  • Analyses customer complaints and inquiries and develop proposals for better customer service.
  •  Receive instructions/inquiries related to customer account information from external and internal
  • Stakeholders and confirm the response to the Director, Branch Operations.
  • Supervise proper management of authorized signatories.
  • Confirm account opening related to Ethiopian Commodity Exchange.
  • Communicate and confirm lost instruments such as CPOs with branches and
  • Receive information concerning delinquent/re-opening list of customers to branches and confirm the response to the Director, District and Branch Operations.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Management, Accounting and Economics or related field, with six (6) years of experience of which (2) years should be at supervisory position.

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting and Economics or related field, with eight (8) years of experience of which (2) years should be at supervisory position.
  • Full professional qualifications are desirable.
  • Special Experience in branch banking will be an advantageous.
