• Identify and initiate negotiations with remittance service providing companies.
• Evaluate applications for correspondent banking relationships, check for regulatory compliance of the applicants, and facilitate opening of accounts with selected applicant foreign bank.
• Follow-up the smooth operations of Forex Bureaus in line with the Bank’s and statutory requirements.
• Supervise the activities of the Bank’s unit that coordinates the daily operations of remittance agencies.
• Review foreign currency requests and present applications for committee deliberations.

• Respond to queries and conduct meetings with representatives’ of correspondent banks and remittance service providing companies.
• Attend to customer queries and complaints on foreign currency allocation and related issues.
•  Authorize incoming foreign payments received through SWIFT.

• Develop Division strategic plans and objectives and lead in its implementation.
• Prepare Division work plans and monitor their execution.
• Develop policies and procedures for the division and lead in their implementation and continuous review.
• Prepare budgets for the Division and track their implementation.
• Coach and mentor employees within the division towards effective career development.
• Evaluate the periodic performance of his/her subordinates.
• Manage disciplinary concerns of the Division staff.
• Take part in the Bank’s decision making process by becoming part of different panels/ committee (s).
• Willingness and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people

• Master’s degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration or related field, with six (6) years of experience of which two (2) years should be at supervisory position. OR

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration or related field, with eight (8) years of experience of which two (2) years should be at supervisory level.
• Full professional qualification is desirable.
• Specialist experience in Foreign Banking and remittance and banking sector
