In Somalia, the World Food Programme provides food assistance for nutrition, livelihoods, and relief through thehard work of more than 500 employees who contribute to make Somalia hunger free in close partnership withlocal partners.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Provide technical support in the development of the various monitoring reports in alignment with wider CO corporate standards and guidelines.

2. Conduct data quality checks (compile and validate data) to ensure accuracy and reliability of the final reports.

3. Prepare a range of data analysis and reports highlight trends/issues ensuring deliverables adhere to corporate standards and quality control, supporting visualization of monitoring reports using tableaus and dashboards

4. Ensure monitored data are accurately and timely inserted in the CO monitoring system through constant engagement with colleagues in the field. Perform some data review and cleaning as necessary to enable effective data analysis and reporting.

5. Monitor and keep record monthly monitoring plan of each AO, keep tracking and produce reports on monthly field monitoring coverage by WFP monitors and the 3rd party monitors for each AO and programmes

6. support M&E Officer (monitoring implementation and oversight) to communicate with the representative of the 3rd party monitoring service provider for the verification of the monthly TPM invoices based on the received monitoring services recorded in the monthly back-to-office reports and collected MODA field data, timely information sharing, processing of appropriate payments.

7. Carry out daily tracking of the reported issues and complains in the SUITE-CRM (Customer Relationship Management System), ensure issues and/or complains are addressed effectively, provide beneficiaries/communities with a follow-up response regarding their reported issue and/or complain.

8. Support training of national and cooperating partners in monitoring and mobile data collection

9. Liaise with internal counterparts to support effective collaboration, implementation and monitoring of ongoing project activities.

10. Act as a point of contact for resolution of a range of operational or system queries and problems within the area of Monitoring.

11. Other relevant duties requested by line manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area.

Experience:

• 5 years of Experience including at least 3 years in supporting effective analysis and reporting.
• Experience in cleaning, categorizing and selecting effectively an important volume of data to easy up the development of reports

Knowledge and Skills:

• Self-driven, well organized, can manage an important workload

• Enjoys working with dataadvanced knowledge of excel, descriptive statistics for data analysis and reporting, experience in query building using SQL (PostgreSQL or MS Access) and data integration is desirable.

• Creative problem solver, flexible and constructive approach to overcome challenges

• Effective team player; strong communication skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and in Tableau

Language: English proficiency; Somali mother tongue.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Contract Duration: 1 year (Renewable)
