Position and Qualification Requirements

The University seeks to recruit competent and dedicated applicants to fill up the following positions in the faculty of Economics and Islamic Banking and Public Administration.

Position 1:

Skills and Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Economics or a Ph.D. is required

• Minimum of Two (2) years of relevant post-qualification work experience

– Experience in Econometrics

Position 2:

• A Master’s degree in Public Administration or a Ph.D. is required

• Minimum of Two (2) years of relevant post-qualification work experience

Job Description

The lecturer shall, among other duties:

• Teach assigned courses as agreed by the dean of the faculty

• Supervise and assess student work;

• Initiate and promote best practices in relation to teaching, learning, and assessment initiatives

• Ensure and support academic research and creativity for students, staff, institution, and social development;

• Disseminate knowledge through scholarly research activities and publications.

• Participate in conferences to advance research interests.

• Participate actively in University/Department committees as required and contribute to faculty development following University policies and mission.

• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the University.
