Ogal Consulting is a Somali-led research and consultancy firm with physical presence in Nairobi, Mogadishu, and Federal Member States (FMS). Ogal Consulting is specialized in providing consultancy services related to research, project management, strategic communications, capacity building, evaluations, third party monitoring, and construction services to donor agencies, international organizations, and governments to achieve common goals and objectives in shaping global and domestic changes. Ogal Consulting has a strong understanding of project management, good working relationships with government agencies and community members, and access to its geographic locations.

JOB PURPOSE

Due to a promotion in our team, we are hiring business development manager to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads. The Business development Manager are responsible: –

Responsibilities: –

Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events. Developing proposals and quotes for clients.

Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Identify and research potential clients

Develop and maintain client relationships

Coordinate with Project teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed

Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
