Job Summary

We are looking for a Geologist to analyze geological data and plan our geology-related activities. The candidate should have excellent organizational and project management skills and should be comfortable with data and geologic modelling, as well as technological tools. Teamwork and communication skills are also important since you will collaborate with a team from different national backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out field studies to conduct surveys and collect samples.
• Identification of mineral zones.
• Analyse the information available with govt. mineral dept. aerial photographs, well logs (detailed records of geologic formations), rock samples, and other data sources to locate deposits of natural resources and estimate their size.
• Conduct laboratory tests on samples collected in the field.
• Make geologic maps and charts.
• Prepare written scientific reports on minerals and their mineablity.
• Present their findings.
• Review reports and research done by other agencies.
• Prepare prospecting plans.
• Coordinate with govt dept and also external agencies for the detailed field exploration.
