About Berbera Cement Factory

Berbera Cement Company Is A Limited Liability Company Owned By Somaliland Business Companies, Almost 60 Companies From Somaliland Are Part Of This Company, Their main aim is to build a brand new plant in a place adjacent to the old factory, We Have Completed All The Necessary Research And Now Berbera Cement Company decided to Construct a new Plant With a 2000 Tpd Cement And 1500 Tpd Clinker Capacity.

For The Past Few Years, The Project Sponsors Have Been Researching The Viability Of Building A Cement Factory In Berbera. Our Main Goal Is To Construct A Modern Cement Plant Around The Site Of The Previous Berbera Cement Plant. This Year, We Want To Start The Project As Soon As Possible, Therefore We Are Presently In The First Round Of Looking For Key Personnel Who Will Work On It Directly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Spares And Inventory Control Of Project Items.
• Responsible For Seamless Project Activities.
• Outsourcing External Professional Services/Support As Approved By Management.
• Technical Manpower Planning And Administration.
• Ensure Compliance With Standards.
• Contribute To Pre-Bid Evaluation To Understand The Scope Of Work Involved.
• Undertake Any Pre-Bid Engineering Required For Validation & Quantification Of The Scope.
• Co-Ordinate With Engineering & Estimation Teams Within The Organization As Well As External Specialists, If Required, To Ensure Seamless Execution Of The Project.
• Manage The Budget From Identification To Completion Of Projects.
• Contribute To The Creation And Implementation Of Best Practice Maintenance Vision, Strategy, Policies, Processes, And Procedures To Aid And Improve Operational – Performance.

• Enforce All Health And Safety Rules And Regulations According To Country’s Laws And Company Protocol.
• Understanding Of Safety Systems And Enforcement Of Safety Rules And Policies.
• Ability To Motivate People, Assess And Develop Employee Skills.
• Ability To Work With Teams And Lead Decision-Making Processes In A Team Environment.
