Reports Supply Chain Officer

Role Dimensions Save the Children operates across all zones in Somalia and currently has three main area offices and additional 11 field offices. Programmatically Somalia is a large Country Office with more than $110million annual budget and staff over 650 staff

ROLE PURPOSE: 

The fleet assistant is responsible for fleet management, procurement related to fleets and transportation and supporting lower threshold procurement, as well as handling documents and filing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Academic Background:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain/Procurement/business administration, economics/ finance or other relevant disciplines

Experience and Skills

Essential

• Experience in fields of logistics/supply chain with NGO’s and INGOs with minimum One Year experience
• Proficiency in using computer applications
• Good written and spoken English and Somali languages

Flexible, self-motivating, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a team player
