Financial Management Specialist (Three Position)

Location: Galmudug, Puntland, Banadir

Reports to the Senior Financial Management Specialist

PSI and its local affiliates manage community health programs across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. PSI also supports national Ministries of Health to scale up community health worker programs.

PSI seeks an experienced, dynamic and innovation-driven Financial Management Specialist

to support an anticipated one-year Somali Federal Government through the World Bank funded Female Health Worker program in Somalia with an anticipated award date of April 2020.

This position will report to the Senior Financial Management Specialist

Minimum qualification and professional experiences required:

• A University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
• At least 5 years post qualification experience in financial management and auditing
• Fluency in Somali is required.
• Demonstrated experience successfully implementing a variety of individual and organizational capacity development approaches for financial to develop long-term capacity improvements
• Possess ability to provide oversight to financial management and related issues
• Ability to support stakeholders to conduct other financial management operations as required for auditing purposes.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software
• Ability to adapt tools and guidelines for the purpose of financial reporting at all levels
• Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Somali language
• Excellent teamwork and facilitation skills
• Willingness to be based within a remote county
