We are hiring a number of Relationship Officers/Salespeople. Interested candidates are requested to submit their CVs immediately.

Relationship Officer/Salesperson Job Purpose:

The incumbent will work to assist the bank on-board more customers, handle more transactions, generate more revenue, make more sales and improve customer experience by offering pre and after-sales services. He/she will also ensure that all customer concerns are handled on a time.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee relationships with clients performing alongside Relationship Manager to ensure top level service provided to clients.
• Perform as key contact point for portfolio of clients dealing with routine matters throughout range of services and products.
• Develop and maintain professional understanding of customer base to assist the bank deepening current relationships.
• Initiate apt activities to ensure on time and scheduled response to customers.
• Ensure to alert the bank with respect to any delays along with potential issues.
• Support to open and link new accounts and sale more products/services.
• Provide assistance to the bank to attain approval on new account openings.
• Review independently all documents and link entire customer accounts to suitable relationship.
• Ensure to alert the bank of prospective sales opportunities surface from discussions with clients.
• Conduct evaluation of client’s accounts.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field and or related professional qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing and sales.
• Basic knowledge of Banking
• Computer Literacy
• Results oriented individual
• Effective communication skills and fluency in the English language in addition the Somalia one.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Existing relations with the bank’s potential clients are added value.
