We are hiring a number of branch Operations managers. Interested candidates are requested to submit their CVs immediately.

Branch Operations Manager Job Purpose:

To support the assigned branchwith a consistently high-quality support structure. Proactively identify and assess the risks faced by the branches, manage the risks and have an effective system of controls in place to reduce overall exposure and provide a secure, appropriately staffed, cost-effective and responsive operations infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vault keys & ATM keys Custodianship and branch cash management;
• Carry out daily cash reconciliation and report differences if any.
• Monitor cash holding limits of the tellers.

• Comply with branch cash holding limits.
• Co-ordinate the cash repatriations.
• Balance the ATM A/C against physical cash
• Authorize cash allocations.
• Conduct end of the day balancing of teller’s cash.
• Authorize all teller transactions which are exceeding their specified limits
• Daily assessing of teller Queue management & transaction volume.
• Conduct regular reviews of staff performance.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field and or related professional qualifications.
• Good knowledge of bank operations procedures
• A sound grounding in general banking with minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Branch Based Environment
• Supervision and productivity management experience, with leadership skills for motivating, developing and coordinating a team.
• Effective communication skill and fluency in the English language in addition to Somalia one.
• A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Branch routine functions and risk controls
• Existing relationship with the bank’s potential customers is considered as an advantage.
