We are hiring a number of Customer Service Assistants. Interested candidates are requested to submit their CVs immediately.

Customer Service AssistantJob Purpose:

Responsible for assisting customers with their banking needs. Whether a customer or potential client requires information on banking fees, offered products and services, service requirements or they are placing orders including account opening, card order, cheque book order, printing customer statements and balance, Processing wire transfers etc, Bank Customer Service Representatives are there to help and provide proper customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Relationship Managers in delivering efficient and quality service to customers
• Act as major contact point with customers’ support functions to ensure smooth account operations
• Assist Relationship Managers in handling customers from different business parties and find the right solutions for customers
• Contact customers to build relationship and respond to enquiries on account or operational matters
• Liaise with internal departments and provide instructions to concerned parties on account maintenance tasks
• Assist Customer Service Manager in dealing with requests and perform general office administrative duties

Qualifications, experience and skills

• A university degree in any field,
• Well-versed in the various banking processes, products and operations,
• Computer literacy
• 2 years’ experience in retail banking and customer service.
• Effective communication skills and fluency in the English language in addition to the Somali one.
