REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (REOI)

Provision of Travel, Accommodation, and Event Catering Services for the Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF)–March 2026.

The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) invites eligible and qualified service providers to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of travel arrangements, accommodation, and event catering services in support of the Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF) scheduled to take place in Mogadishu, Somalia in March 2026.

1. Background

The Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF) is a national coordination platform that brings together government institutions, humanitarian partners, development organizations, and key stakeholders to strengthen coordination and enhance the effectiveness of humanitarian response efforts in Somalia.

In preparation for this forum, SoDMA seeks to identify competent and experienced service providers capable of delivering travel logistics, accommodation services, and event catering for participants attending the forum from different regions of Somalia.

2. Scope of Services

Interested firms may express interest in providing one or more of the following services:

1. Travel Services

Provision of round-trip travel arrangements for participants traveling to Mogadishu from the following locations:

     Baidoa,   Mogadishu

     Kismayo,  Mogadishu

 Beledweyne, Mogadishu  Las Anod, Mogadishu

     Dhusamareb,  Mogadishu

1. Accommodation Services

     Hotel accommodation for approximately 30 participants in Mogadishu for two (2) nights.

1. Event Catering Services

     Provision of refreshments and lunch for approximately 200 participants during the forum.

3. Eligibility and Qualification Requirements

Interested firms should demonstrate:

     Valid business registration and operating license in Somalia.

 Proven experience in travel management, hospitality, or event catering services. At least three (3) years of relevant experience in providing similar services.

     Demonstrated capacity to deliver services in Mogadishu and other regions of Somalia.

 Experience  working  with  government  institutions,  international  organizations,  or  NGOs will be considered an advantage.

4. Submission Requirements

Interested firms shall submit the following documents:

 Company profile outlining experience and organizational capacity Copy of valid business registration certificate

 Evidence of relevant experience and references for similar assignments Contact details (address, telephone number, and email)

5. Submission Method and Deadline

Expressions of Interest must be submitted electronically to the following email address:

procurement.head@sodma.gov.so

The deadline for submission is no later than 24 March 2026 at 11:59 PM (Local Time, Mogadishu).

6. Shortlisting

Only shortlisted firms will be invited to participate in the next stage of the procurement process and will receive the Request for Quotations (RFQ).
