We are hiring a number of Tellers/cashiers. Interested candidates are requested to submit their CVs immediately.

Teller Job Purpose:

The position is responsible for effective and efficient customer service delivery and ensuring customers are assisted at all time with any Cash transactions e.g. Deposits and Withdrawals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and paying cash from/to customers and ensuring effective and efficient customer service at all times.
  • Ensuring effective and efficient customer transactions are handled with utmost confidentiality.
  • Ensuring cash is balanced at End of day and teller tills are kept safely in the vault after confirmation with cash custodians.
  • Assisting customers with issues relating to their accounts and queries relating to cash transactions.
  • Debit/credit vouchers (passing entries – Cash, Clearing & Transfers)
  • Responsible for ensuring cash holding in the cubicles is always within the teller limits.
  • Handling any other role that may be assigned by management from time to time in the course of duty.
  • Respond to customer needs in a timely, professional, helpful and courteous manner, regardless of customer attitude

Qualifications, experience and skills

  • Graduate from an accredited University.
  • Trained and proven experience of at least 2 year of Teller service
