Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Ø  Responsible for coordination of card business to ensure smooth efficient service that exceeds customer expectation including the settlement of customer issues.

Ø  Set operational standards that are in line with global standards and that are above competition.

Ø  Ensure all SLA agreements are aligned to business objectives and are observed and enforced.

Ø  Set operational and business strategies and goals that make Card business profitable to an acceptable standard with appropriate attention on costs and sales.

Ø  Supervise the cards sales and marketing promotional plans through the business marketing channels to achieve set goals.

Ø  Responsible for compliance and updating of cards’ procedures and processes in line with market requirements and technological developments.

Ø  Be personally responsible for satisfactory resolution of disputes and limit risks to the bank.

Ø  Ensure all facilities for cards usage are properly functioning including ATMs, Card printing equipment and materials and that they are easily accessible to customers.

Ø  Ensure advancements to card operations in Somalia for IBS are ahead of the market and that features of the cards are constantly updated to make them more attractive and offers to the customers are availed appropriately and in a timely manner.

Ø  Ensure adequate resources and skills are availed as planned to implement the projects.

Ø  Apply the best team work strategies to the delight and satisfaction of the stakeholders.

Ø  Attract, develop, train and retain good staff while offering them support to produce exceptional results.

Ø  Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
