AmaanoBoarding and Day school is hiring highly experienced fervent and dependable Mathematics Teacher for Somaliland Curriculum and Edexcel Advanced A- level and O-level International UK Examinations.

Required knowledge and abilities

• Organizes integrated mathematics learning approaches
• Designs and implement professional records as required.
• Produces context based mathematics   learning resources
• Facilities  learner centered teaching  approaches and techniques
• Set standardized Examinations
• Assists children who need special mathematics  improvement
• Evaluates children’s performance and progress

Math Teacher Responsibilities:

• Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students’ understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
• Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
• Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
• Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
• Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
• Documenting and reporting on students’ progress.
• Attending meetings with parents and staff.

 Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics, or equivalent, from recognized university
• 8 years of experience as Secondary  Level   teacher from ( Form ones to four)
• Proven experience as a Math Teacher.
• A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, flexible disposition.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills

• Expertise in the field of mathematics
• Experience teaching in a classroom environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and colleagues
• Flexibility and high adaptation skills to work successfully in an unpredictable school setting
• Organization and communication skills
• Excellent both in Written and Spoken English
• Creative and artistic in teaching abilities
• Gives Attention to details
• Preferably IGCSE or Advanced A –level prior teaching Experience
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Master’s degree
