Urgent! Position: English Teacher (Somali Diaspora English Teacher)

Location: Hargeisa

Pioneer Academy is a center designed to teach English for the graduates from the universities in Somaliland to enhance the proficiency of the English Language.

We are seeking a passionate English teacher, who thoroughly enjoys teaching the English Language to give support students and takes endless pride in designing inspiring and engaging English Language.

Teachers of this academy must be hard-working, adaptable, and self motivated, with strong interpersonal skills. While this institution is an entrepreneurial organization with lots of opportunity for advancement, teachers must be willing to work within our system

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach the different skills of English effectively including reading, writing, listening and speaking.

• Perform lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content.

• Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.

• Instruct students about the structure and content of the English language.

• Employ a variety of methodologies in teaching and instructing pupils, including demonstrations, discussions, and lectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education and preferably a specialization in English Language or Literature.

•A minimum of two years teaching experience.

• A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Flexibility and high adaptation skills to work successfully in an unpredictable school setting.
