Position Title: Full Stack Software Developer

Report To: Head of Development – Somtel Group

Supervision of: No line Management Responsibility

Duty Station: Mogadishu

Expiration – 24/10/2020

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create Web Apps, Web API’s Mobile apps, Services
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling of our projects
• Co-Work with software development team to produce efficient systems
• Research and identify solutions to software issues
• Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

Requirements

• Proven working experience in web/app development
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern programming languages
• Familiarity with the following programming languages: C#, ASP.NET Core ASP.NET MVC, Mobile App using Flutter, AngularJS Or React
• Deep knowledge of .NET Technologies
• Experience in software Source Control
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• BS in computer science or a related field
