Position Title: Salesman

Location: Mogadishu, Somalia

A technology-powered logistics company providing express delivery service that’s safe, affordable and end 2 end SEEKS SALESMAN

He will be responsible for scanning the market and locating potential customers according to assigned segments and coming up with a plan to acquire them.

He will also be continuously studying current and potential competitors and/or threats, collecting related info including, but not limited to, strength & weakness, and propose a plan to encounter them.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum university degree level, preferably business or marketing related.

DUTIES

• Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies

• Identify areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities
• Represent the company at events
• Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups
• Communicate with the coordinator and line manager for reporting and the like
• Analyze the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports

• Devise an effective marketing strategy to reach target group.
• Act as a key account manager for international and local NGOs
• Promoting ArsalEx services using different tactics including direct visit, email campaigns and distribution of promotional items.
• Supervising and directing marketing interns and temporary marketing staff
• Locating potential customers and devising strategy to gain them
• Distributing leaflets, flyers and the like whenever deemed necessary
• Visiting in person and convincing customers when needed
• Recording all visited customers and feeding into an excel sheet
• Locating potential and current competitors and/or threats and collecting related information
• Following up with visited customers to make sure they have goods ready for shipping
• Communicating with Customer Services Staff to make your customer is cared for.

• Accepting directions & tasks assigned via phone, whatsApp and/or SMS.

• Maintain a positive attitude with customers
