Zamzam Foundation is a humanitarian and development organization founded in, Somalia in 1992 to serve the most vulnerable members of society at a time of severe crisis. A non-governmental and not-for profit organization, Zamzam established itself in the heart of the humanitarian emergency that followed the outbreak of the civil war in Somalia in 1991. Since then, we have grown to become the largest national humanitarian and development organization in Somalia with nearly three decades of experience providing relief and support services to those most affected by the joint forces of war and famine.

ZZF is implementing in partnership SHF-OCHA, a food security project titled provision of life-saving food and livelihood assistance to the flood-affected most vulnerable and underserved communities in Jowhar district of Middle Shebelle Region.

ZZF invites all the interested and potential suppliers to collect tender document in order to submit their offers as per the below details.

TYPE OF GOODS: Agricultural inputs (Farming Seeds and Vegetable).

The ZZF invites potential suppliers to make a company offer for the following items:

• seventeen villages in Jowhar district

Interested companies who wish to submit their proposal should meet the below listed requirements;

1. Valid license from concerned Authority
2. Certificate from ministry of agriculture of FG and Hirshabelle
3. Tax Clearance Certificate from Ministry of Finance, FG and Hirshabelle
4. Delivery Time of the procurement of agricultural inputs (seeds and vegetables) to the destination (see above mentioned location)
5. Company’s record of accomplishment of similar supply for agricultural inputs (seeds and vegetables) – Please attach awarded contract, PO or certificate of completion as an evidence.
6. Fair Price in comparison to ZZF’s established rate.
7. Current bank account statement (for the last 3 months)
8. Quality of the product according to the required specifications. ZZF has the rights to evaluate samples for testing before award.
9. Bid validity period (preferably 90 days)
10. Thoroughness of quotation preparation.
11. Quality, reputation and performance of supplier

Bids can be collected from ZZF Mogadishu office, Taleex, Behind Ambassador Hotel. Email: procurement@zamzamsom.org. The deadline for bid submission is on Saturday 15thFebruary 2021 at 40:00am. Companies that submit their quotation after the deadline will not be considered.

Completed tender documents clearly marked with the ITB Number bided for must be deposited at the ZZF Mogadishu Office before the deadline date and time.

Formal bids being submitted must be on formal company letters, duly signed and stamped must indicate the Full Company Name, Physical Address, Contact Telephone Number/contact Email address, Directors Names, addresses and their telephone numbers.

Zamzam foundation has the right to reject any and all bids at their sole discretion. Should you have any questions or concerns about any of the items on the work write-up, please contact procurement@zamzamsom.org for clarification prior to bidding. You are reminded that your bid should be inclusive of all taxes, fees and permits.

Upon selection of the winning contractor, Zamzam foundation will send a Bid Award Notice to the selected contractor.
