Position Title: Account for Tayo Plastic Factory

TOR of the accountant postholder
Tayo Plastic Factory, recently established in Hargeisa, expects to receive the CVs of accountants with the following requirements
1. Excellent knowledge of quick books and other financial systems with prior working experience of the same.
2. Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications particularly Excel Applications including Vlookups and pivot tables.
3. Knowledge of the following skills
a. Financial reporting and analysis
b.
Cost accounting/cost classifications4. Ability to conduct all types of financial records and reconcile discrepancies.
5. Ability to prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
6. Ability to conduct research on financial records and identify trends with regard to important indicators and financial ratios and highlight areas that require the attention of the management.
7. Take leadership role in setting up accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
8. Strong awareness to secure the financial information of the factory by completing database backups on daily basis.
9. Ability to manage petty cash payments to ensure smooth operations of the factory
10. Ability to verify documentation, and request disbursements.
11. Ability to maintain neat filing systems for both financial and non-financial (both soft and hard data).
12. Proven and acceptable ethical standards
13. Ability to maintain confidential that the work requires (even long after he leaves his position).
Qualification and work experience
1. Bachelor Degree in Accounting
2. 2 to 3 years of work experience in similar institution/company.
3. At least two references from the previous work institutions.
