About the Position
The Admin and Finance Assistant will provide assistance in executing the day-to-day financial management, human resources, customer support and general administration matters with in the company’s head quarter in Hargeisa, Somaliland.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s cash book and financial transactions under the supervision of the Operations Manager in line with the company’s financial policy and procedures.
- Process and track invoices to clients and receive payments
- Manage office expenses and other payments including but not limited to payroll, office and store rents, government tax etc.
- Ensure proper documentation of payment vouchers and all other supporting documents
- Maintain both digital and hard copy of financial documents
- Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports to the Operations Manager
- Assist managing local procurement matters including processing of Purchase requests and Purchase orders
- Manage staff HR issues like leaves, salaries, recruitment among others
Key Qualifications
- At least Diploma in accounting or business Administration from a reputable university or institution.
- Knowledge and experience in administrative; financial accounting and full range of office support work, with a high level of sustained performance.
- At least one year in similar work
- Proficiency in using of Quick books and other financial management software.
