Development of a Training Manual

The Somali Youth Development Network (SOYDEN) invites qualified consultants or consultancy firms to submit proposals for the development of a concise and practical training manual.

Objective of the Assignment

The assignment aims to develop a user-friendly training manual that covers key areas including governance, taxation, public engagement, transparency, and feedback mechanisms. The manual should be context-appropriate and suitable for training public officials and community stakeholders.

Scope of Work

The selected consultant/firm will be responsible for:

• Developing well-structured training content and practical learning tools
• Producing and submitting one finalized training manual within the agreed timeframe

Duration

• 4 days

Deliverable

• One finalized training manual

Required Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Governance, Political Science, Economics, Public Finance, Social Sciences, Education, or a closely related field.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

Professional Experience:

• Proven experience in governance, public finance/taxation, civic engagement, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in developing training manuals or learning and capacity-building materials.

Submission of Proposals

• A brief technical proposal
• A financial proposal
