𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲

You will work in a team of 5 colleagues and report to the Senior Marketing Manager of SCOUT CO. You will collaborate closely with regional headquarter (based in Mogadishu) for central marketing functions i.e., Brand campaigns, Media, Social, and Influencer.

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

Local B2C Marketing Strategy – Based on the Global and Regional Marketing Strategy, the Brand Marketing Manager Mogadishu, together with the Senior Marketing Manager Mogadishu and local sales team, will develop and implement the local B2C marketing strategy.

✅️ Media & Campaign Management – Planning and implementation of media campaigns for the SCOUT in collaboration with the MGQ area team and external media agencies.

✅️ Social Media and Influencer Marketing – Coordinating the planning of content on local social media channels together with the MGQ area Social Media Marketing Team and social media agencies. Management of Mogadishu influencer marketing activities including seeding, content, and events.

✅️ Digital Marketing– Further development of the local marketing strategy and tactics towards new target audiences and continually updating the marketing mix to reach and create impact for JBL’s target audience.

✅️ Brand Engagement and Activation Marketing – Planning and activating brand partnerships, events, and branded content campaigns that deepen brand engagement and increase brand consideration.

✅️ Marketing Collateral – Adapting marketing assets, material, and content in close cooperation with the MGQ area Product Marketing team. Ensure local assets and delivery of projects adhere to global brand guidelines.

Qualification:

✅️ Minimum 6 years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management with proven success in B2C Brand Marketing.

✅️ Excellent stakeholder management & collaboration in international and cross-functional teams.

✅️ Expert in digital marketing, e.g. in the areas of media, social, and content.

✅️ Project management experience working with external agencies including media, social, creative, and culturally relevant partners/third parties.

✅️ Consumer orientated with a strong understanding of consumer journeys and touchpoints Experience in the implementation of cross-channel marketing campaigns.

✅️ Good planning and organizational skills.

✅️ Ability to consistently communicate to external and internal teams, and present ideas and campaigns.
