Job Description REF: 019 /MCP/FFD

Department: Floor Department

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments. and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment
• Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, kitchen policies, and resort general information
• Accurately prepare all Cafe items to standardized recipe and presentation instruction
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
• Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
• Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Observe relevant health and safety standards
• Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
• Packaging food and beverages for sale.
• Selling coffee and tea blends and brewing equipment, highlighting the differences between items, and educating customers about brewing methods.
• Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
• To maintain customer areas to company standards.
• To attend work at designated shifts (time & attendance).
• To attend team meetings as required.
• To undertake daily Health & Safety and Food Safety checks, reporting and actioning any issues as required
• To brief and communicate any changes to service or brand standards
• Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards in the Cafe
• Ensure that all opening and closing duties are performed fully on a daily basis and that cleanliness and maintenance Cafe equipment is maintained
• Answer phones in a professional manner
• Report directly to the Front of House Manager
• To deliver the highest levels of customer service in line with brand standards.
• To produce & serve all drinks to brand standards & recipes.
• To produce & present all food to brand standards.
• Maintain stock levels/availability by replenishing display/fridges within company guidelines/planograms, rotating stock to ensure compliance with company health & safety guidelines.
• Maintained Cafeé cleanliness at all times, including cleaning tables, maintaining condiment bar, and removing trash.
• Prepared and served drinks and food in accordance with health codes and café
• Performed all support tasks such as cleaning cases and equipment, and restocking display cases.
• Worked on registers daily to authorize returns and exchanges, and audit receipt
• Ensure all drinks are made and served to brand standard
• Support team throughout shift to ensure delivery of service to brand standard
