We offer range of consulting services that include, research, M&E, technology solutions, and strategy and capacity development. Our work spans across many sectors, including: Governance, economic development, private sector development, trade &investment, power &energy, agriculture, food security, education, health &nutrition, environment &climate change. We help our clients make distinctive, lasting and significant improvements in their performance.

IDS frequently engages consultants to support project development and implementation needs across the country. Opportunities may be short-term, medium-term, long-term, as well as part-time or full-time. To respond to these needs, IDS maintains a database of national/international experts and, thus, is seeking senior and mid-level short term technical consultants. Criteria: Applicants should have relevant graduate-level education, significant and related experience, in addition to technical skills, essential qualifications including excellent written and spoken English. Prior demonstrated experience leading, coordinating, and delivering large-scale technical activities in respective fields. Proven skills in evaluation design, methods, quantitative, and qualitative methodologies and analysis. Strong proposal and report writing skills. Strong training and facilitation skills.

Sectors: We are looking for researchers, evaluators, technical consultants and experts in the following fields: Democracy & governance, economic growth, trade&investment, agriculture, information technology, power&energy, education, health &nutrition, WASH, food security &livelihoods, environment & natural resources, humanitarian assistance and cross-cutting programs

We are looking for both national and international consultants who have deep experience/expertise in the sectors noted above who can lead and/or support our services as subject matter experts.
