JOB TITLE: Casual

The Child welfare Casuals will work closely with the Child Welfare Team to promote orphan children access in education, feasible income generation and employment strategies and ensuring equal access for women and men to contribute to meeting basic and other livelihoods needs to improve the wellbeing of targeted communities.

To be responsible for the day to day activities of the Child welfare Programme in the field by providing support to orphan operations, facilitating good practice and ensuring legal compliance to applicable implementation process of child welfare interventions in Hargeisa.

Main Duties and Responsibilities.

·       Participate new orphan registration processes and Visit orphans at their families for routine monitoring of their progress.

·       Assist in compiling Annual progress report data from field and collating the same.

·       Assist in quarterly disbursement to sponsored orphan children.

·       Assist to pass on gift from sponsors to orphans.

·       Mobilise project beneficiaries on issue related to organizational policies & procedures, child protection and welfare.

·       Perform other related duties as required by Child Welfare Supervisor.

Internal controls and reporting.

·       Assist insuring the accurateness and completeness of orphan data in hard copies.

·       Account timely implementation for the activities of the project.

·       Identify any apparent issues in the orphans program and report immediately.

LANGUAGE

Proficiency in English (Written and spoken) is essential

IV. IT SKILLS

Good IT skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel is essential.
