Fikrcamp is an online coding bootcamp based in Hargeisa and provides a virtual program where students are taught programming skill employers look for in 16 weeks to launch their careers in tech or launch their own startups. Lunched in 2021 Fikrcamp has now taught 2 cohorts of students in which students have either went on to get job placements or start their own startups.

Community Manager Position

We are looking for a dedicated and organized community manager to help our students  get the best experience from our Fikrcamp virtual bootcamp and engage our audience mainly through digital media, a fast learner with a sense of urgency in his/her work, technology background is preferred.

Job description

• Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner.
• Publish content that meets the brand’s communication style such as blogs, newsletter and emails.
• Hosting engaging Twitter spaces, Discord stages events and other meetups on Zoom and events in our physical space.
• Work with our graphic designer and product manager to plan marketing content such as social media posters, videos, podcasts and other communication materials.
• Oversee, monitor and publish creative materials developed by our graphic designers in our social media platforms.
• Actively engage with the community in Discord, increase their engagement with our activities and follow up inactive members.
• Write success stories and highlight our graduates who have secured employments or built their own projects.
• Organize and participate in events to build community growth and engagement, and boost brand awareness.
