Purpose:	Local competitive Bidding (LCB) for Support immediate food security to the drought affected host community and IDPs in Baardheere District of Gedo Region of Somalia.

The Community Development and Humanitarian Network (CoDHNet) is implementing Food Security Programme Under Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF) to support immediate food security to the drought affected host community and IDPs in Baardheere District of Gedo Region of Somalia. In reference to this, CoDHNet invites tender from qualified, registered companies as detailed above, the detail description is summarized in accordance with procedures, conditions and contract terms, as specified in this tender document and the BOQ detailing food items

CoDHNet Somalia is seeking qualified contractors for the subject of the above head title.

The tender will be conducted using CoDHNet standard bidding documents, open to all qualified suppliers and service providers.

(All tender documents MUST be submitted on company’s letter head and CoDHNet template provided as part of the tender documents).

Qualification and Conditions:

The mandatory and main criteria for admission to the tender process are as follows: –

Bids that are submitted with missing or incomplete documentation are dismissed before further evaluation.

• Certificate of registration with the relevant Government certifying Authority; (MUST be include the Gedo Regional registration Certificate, clearance certificate, Baardheera District registration certificate and Certificate registration from the relevant Ministries) of Jubaland State;
• Company profile;
• Valid permission and licenses required to carry out business activities in Baadheera District;
• Tax compliance certificate;
• Financial offer including VAT and all other costs that might accrue. The financial offer should be split according to categories of costs.
• Official quotation;
• Good track-record and references from previous clients (Similar tasks) with telephone contacts of at least three references;
• Prove of the above must be provided; at least three contracts;
• Submission of the latest certified bank statement of the applying entity for at least last three months;
• Tender documents and Bid Delivery.

Additional information

• Tender will be opened thereafter immediately in the presence of procurement committee;
• Selected Vender will notify through email after completion of paperwork;
• Selected Vender will receive his/her service amount after 100% completion of contract;
• All Food items will be made at local and therefore any transportation cost should be within the cost of the individual food items;

The following Tender is being tendered through this notification during the above period:

• Supply of Food Items to selected beneficiaries through Food Voucher Transfer (FVT),
• CoDHNet will ensure that the food meet the required specification and suitable for human consumption.
