Job Summary
Golis Telecom is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and deploy network configuration. .
- Deploy 3rd party’s integration. .
- Install and configure CBS application. .
- Provide technical support to the development of the infrastructure systems and services. .
- Plan and implement new technologies such as routers, switches and wireless infrastructure. .
- Manage, for protection and network security, switching, routing, firewalls, LANs, WLANs, TCP/IP, VPNs, and VoIP. .
- Development python and NodeJS applications. .
- Design and develop system utility Applications. .
- Develop various automation scripts. .
- Design and develop Applications in different programming languages. .
- Strong work ethics. .
- Team player with excellent communication skills. .
- Able to work under pressure.
Requirements
- BSCS / MCS. .
- Experience on Network Infrastructure Management (CCNA and CCNP). .
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in oracle DB management and or application engineering. .
- Strong understanding and knowledge software development. .
- Good understanding and experience on Linux platform (LPIC 1 and LPIC 2). .
- Knowledge in virtualization and cloud technology. .
- Understanding on network security. .
- Experience on system utility application development. .
- Strong understanding in programming with python and NodeJS. .
- Knowledge in automation script. .
- Experience in oracle DB(OCA). .
Communication Skills
- Excellent English and Somali: verbal and proven written communication skills .
- Highly organized Person .
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
