·      Coordinate and ensure that project activities are implemented and carried out as per agreed schedules and deadlines.

·      Ensure the timely reporting of project reports as per donor guidelines.

·      Coordinate with donors and provide regular project updates to the stakeholders.

·      Engage with relevant stakeholders and government agencies.

·      Identify fiduciary and other risks and implement important mitigating measures and safeguards when needed.

·      Provide expertise and support to new business development in the areas of fund management by assisting with the identification of new business opportunities.

·      Maintain and further strengthen the existing relationship between Dahabshiil, donors and other relevant stakeholders.

·      Regularly attend donor and government meetings and provide project performance updates.

·      Ensure the best programming and support the implementation team in carrying out their day-to-day activities.

·      Monitoring and oversee the provisions of small awards, review and approve due diligence and documentations.

·      Provide expertise on improving project, donor and visibility of Dahabshil Bank in all communications and activities.

·      Carry out regular grant management checks, regular reporting status of the ongoing projects and review of project fund utilisation;

·      Carry out any other activities as assigned.

·      Experience in proposal writing and working as a team under tight deadlines to develop proposals and concept notes.

·      Essential IT skills inclusive of MS Office and in particular Excel at a high level.

·      Ability to work flexibly and to undertake travels in short notice.

·      Proven ability to operate in a team environment liaising with diverse teams.

·      Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

·      Experience of using own initiative, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.

·      Experience of working within an NGO grant awarding mechanism is highly desirable, as is experience in public financial management.
