BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Livelihood Relief and Development Organization – LRDO is an Non Political & non Profit Organization that works on humanitarian Organization & its main activities is livelihood development for Somali community to tackle all living challenges on the ground, it has been established on 6th July 2010.

JOB SUMMARY

The primary objective of the enumerators is to gather data in the neediest areas of Mogadishu, Beledweyne, Jowhar and Afgoye. If necessary, the enumerators will also take part in assessments carried out by LRDO and its partners.

She or he will carry out any other tasks or activities delegated by the meal officer in addition to baseline surveys, KAP, PDM, Need assessments, End-line, desk reviews, data entry, and other data collection tasks for assessments and surveys.

• Attend all necessary and pertinent training sessions and briefings when going out into the field.
• Collecting and recording data such as age, race, marital status, number of children, income levels, etc.
• Maintaining confidentiality when collecting sensitive information such as health status or criminal records
• Identifying potential respondents through telephone surveys to gauge interest in participating in a study
• Explaining study procedures to respondents to ensure that they understand the process
• Recognize how to utilize the data gathering tools and the questionnaire during the training.
• Accurately gather reliable data in accordance with the field collecting strategy or as directed by the supervisor.
• Observe the directions in the data collecting handbook and the particular instructions for each task.
• As requested, take part in the workshops for learning and/or analysis.
