Berbera Cement Company Is A Limited Liability Company Owned By Somaliland Business Companies, Almost 60 Companies From Somaliland Are Part Of This Company, Their main aim is to build a brand new plant in a place adjacent to the old factory, We Have Completed All The Necessary Research And Now Berbera Cement Company decided to Construct a new Plant With a 2000 Tpd Cement And 1500 Tpd Clinker Capacity..

Berbera Cement Project

For The Past Few Years, The Project Sponsors Have Been Researching The Viability Of Building A Cement Factory In Berbera. Our Main Goal Is To Construct A Modern Cement Plant Around The Site Of The Previous Berbera Cement Plant. This Year, We Want To Start The Project As Soon As Possible, Therefore We Are Presently In The First Round Of Looking For Key Personnel Who Will Work On It Directly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management Of The Financial Infrastructure And Processes For The Company, Should Have An Understanding Of The Manufacturing Process And The Financial Implications.
• Management Of Financing Requirements, Including Developing And Maintaining Relationships With The Group’s International Banking Syndicate, Investors, And Shareholders Functions.
• Management Of All Aspects Of Treasury Activities, Including All Corporate Finance Matters, Cash Management Including Cash (Dividend) Extraction, Interest Rate, And Foreign Exchange Rate Management.

• Acting As Advisor To The CEO And Board Of Directors On The Financial Implications And Risks Related To Key Business Issues
• Working Closely With The CEO Regarding The Ongoing Financial Condition Of The Group And The Coordination Of Financial Objectives With Key Strategic Goals
• Identifying Emerging Threats And Opportunities, And Initiating Actions To Ensure Necessary Control Measures.
• Participating In The Strategic Planning For The Future With Other Members Of The Executive Team
• Ensure The Timely And Accurate Delivery Of The Key Operating Performance Information Required To Both Drive Performance And Meet Regulatory Reporting Requirements Helping To Drive A Commercial And Cost-Effective Culture Within The Organization.
• Demonstrates A Strong Track Record Of Continuous Improvement, Cost Management, Operational Performance Improvement And Effectiveness.
