TERMS OF REFERENCE

Assignment: Graphic Design and Data Visualization Intern

Reporting Division: System and Data Analytics Coordinator

Duration: 3 Months

Location of Duty: Mogadishu

Raagsan is looking for a qualified junior graphic designer and data visualization intern with ambition to grow and learn in a competitive environment which is full of potential.

• The graphic designer will be expected to develop and design data and information-driven documents to present/describe information in such a way that external audience can easily understand and draw lessons from the documents.
• The intern will be expected to make the documents, as much as possible, self-explanatory through different creative methods using graphics, illustrations and pictorials so that the wider audience will get more information about the work.

Under the direct supervision and technical guidance of the Systems and Data Analytics Coordinator and the Communication Specialist, the intern will:

1. Develop online data collection tools, clean data sets, and develop charts/graphs from it.
2. Design reports, presentations, and internal company documents
3. Design brochures, posts and flyers for company social media pages
4. Create and maintain informative and interactive dashboards with maps and graphs
5. Maintain company website and other company systems.
