GROW – Mechanical Engineer – Berbera

• Adhere to and compliance Business unit and department procedures for assigned jobs
• Learning and development for CMMS and computer skills
• Adhere to onsite superintendent/engineer/technical planning and assist in carrying out maintenance repairs, fault finding, and monitoring technical jobs for assigned area.
• Take ownership of assigned jobs or work activity
• Assist onsite superintendent/engineer/ technical planning concerning job priority and tasks that are critical to terminal operations.
• Assist onsite superintendent/engineer/ technical planning with maximum operational availability of equipment by assisting with diagnostics and specifying repair methods to be carried out by a group of skilled technicians.
• Asist onsite superintendent/engineer/technical planning to submit shift reports, routine inspection, and monitoring reports when deemed necessary.
• Develop her/himself to carry out duties independently upon call out and allocate jobs to technicians and mechanics and report breakdowns and faults when deemed necessary.
• Assume additional responsibility for terminal equipment in the absence of the Superintendent, Engineer, Technical Planning.
• Ensures tidiness and cleanliness of workshop & assigned area of work.
